Red Riding Hood Makeup Tutorial

Happy Saturday! As promised yesterday, I’m going to show you how to get this look. It’s very easy, and would also work well with a lot of costume ideas!

Here are most of the products I used:

1. Create a smooth canvas for your makeup by applying a primer. Then apply your favorite concealor and foundation.
2. Set your foundation with either some loose powder or a setting spray.
3. Instead of blush, apply two or three dabs of a reddish lipstick to your cheeks. Red riding hood is out in the woods, so her cheeks are red from the cold! Blend with your fingers until you get your desired color. I actually had to wipe some of the color off with a washcloth and blend it out even more with a fluffy brush, so be careful :)!
4. With a black liquid liner, just thinly line your lids and create a small wing at the ends. Next, taking a detail brush and some black or dark gray eyeshadow, line halfway into your lower lash line. This creates a smokey and darker look.
5. To make your eyes look even bigger and brighter, line your water line with a white eye liner.
6. Curl your lashes and apply a volumizing black mascara.
7. Fill in any sparse areas of your eyebrows with a pencil or powder. For a youthful look, fill in your arches if you have them.

You’re done! Now all you need is a big bad wolf!

Hope you guys enjoy this look, dont forget to like and follow!

October Couture: Red Riding Hood

Hey guys, so sorry I’ve been away for awhile, school is a stress-fest! Thankfully this week was Spirit Week in honor of Homecoming, and as normal, I wanted to do something unusual! For the last day, Famous Friday, I decided to be Little Red Riding Hood. I even had a basket with brownies and candy I gave out to everyone!

Tonight I’ll be showing you guys my look and hopefully provide a little inspiration for your own Halloween costume this year! If you’re interested in being little red, stay tuned for a tutorial on her makeup tomorrow!

Let’s get started.

Peanuts, Puppy Faces, and Princesses

This weekend’s been pretty interesting I must say.
First, I woke up at 6 o’clock Saturday morning to get ready for The October Fest. The October Fest (or Country Fest as some call it), is a little festival on main street that the town holds every year. Normally I’m the one walking around, looking at booths and stuff, but this year I was able to help out at my family’s own booth!

We sold bags of locally grown, salted peanuts for a non-profit in our area named Camp Sertoma. They provide summer camps every year for special needs adults and teenagers. Selling peanuts is their biggest fundraiser, and since I’m a Junior Board Member this year, I got to help out!

Now, me being my easily bored self, I jumped out of my seat (literally), dollar in hand when some kids came around selling homemade goodies! I bought some really yummy brownies!

I got brownies!!!

I’m eating my brownies!

Now the brownies are gone ๐Ÿ˜‹

So good…
Um, anyway, then my friend Kristen came over to sit under our tent (it was hot y’all) . She then proceeded to pester me into texting my good friend Alex and see if he was there so we could ride a ride or something with him. Being the schmuck he is ( Love You Alex :b), he had just woken up, and didnt have a ride. So we put on our best face and showed him how sad we were!

Don’t you just want to pinch our cheeks???

Oh! And there was this little boy in a wagon with a candy apple the size of his head!

We were all dying! He was too cute!

And while we were sitting there we decided our Halloween costumes!

I’m going as Ariel, she’ll be Belle! I think I want my little card to say “WAS A GINGER BEFORE IT WAS COOL”, or “LEFT THE OCEAN BECAUSE IT WAS TOO CURRENT”
If you haven’t seen the memes online go check them out for a few lol’s.
Well that’s my weekend so far, stay tumed for a new post soon!
